Meet the 2010 UEA Board Officers
- Bob Kennedy
- President. Bob is a retired marketing and management consultant. He has lived in Santa Barbara since 1980, including 21 years in the Upper East.
- Fred Sweeney
- Vice President. Fred is an architect and senior partner in the firm of Phillips, Metsch, Sweeney & Moore. He has lived in Santa Barbara since 1979, including 25 years in the Upper East.
- Joan Livingston
- Treasurer. Joan is a retired attorney who serves on the Santa Barbara Community College District Board of Trustees, an elected position she has held for over 16 years. She is a 30-year resident of Santa Barbara and has been active in local politics for many years.
- Beth Perry
- Secretary. Beth has been involved in many local philanthropic organizations since she moved to Santa Barbara with her family ten years ago.
- Milt Hess
- Membership. Milt is a retired IT manager and consultant who moved to Santa Barbara in 2002. He served on the 2005-2006 Civil Grand Jury and is a volunteer computer coach at the public library and Jewish Federation.
- Grant Castleberg
- Grant is a landscape architect and has had his own practice since 1969. He has lived in Santa Barbara since 1960 and in the Upper East since 1979
- Steve Forsell
- Steve is the owner of a local real estate appraisal company. He has lived in Santa Barbara since 1968 and in the Upper East since 1985. He has been active locally in politics, educational institutions and government.
- Joe Moticha
- Joe is an architect and real estate developer, and he has been the Director of the Architectural Archives for the past 26 years. (This is the storage facility for the architectural plans for all the residences in the County of Santa Barbara.) Joe has lived in the Upper East since the 1960s.
